      1. Hi Amy, you can use anything , from an old jumper or scarf and cut it into 2 pieces to make the hat from which can either be hot glued or sewed.

    1. These gnomes are adorable. I found white garland at the Dollar store and used that in strips for the beard. I also found a large styrofoam ball and used an old nylon stocking to cover it for the nose.

    2. So cute and thanks for the idea. I did my beard with icicle light stands over lapping and covered a beach ball with a pink pillow case for the nose. Wrapped lights around a small beach ball for the pompom. Green lights in an arch across the bush for the hat and red ribbon and lights for the hat brim.
